Very romantic cabin,quite and secluded yet only 1 mile to down town. Master bedroom has a double Jacuzzi tub and a huge king bed. Large elevated deck , private car park,shower room, living room, kitchen. NO HIDDEN CLEANING FEE'S . The cabin is on it's own lot with it's own yard. We have our own private boat dock a five minute drive from the cabin on Lake Lure with free use of our 2 canoe's and peddle boat, great for swimming, fishing, sunbathing. Everything for that perfect romantic weekend away. We are only 1 mile to Lake Lure Beach and Inn, Chimney Rock Park is only 2/12 miles away. The new Tryon Equestrian Center is a short 20 minute drive. The Cabin has a queen sleeper sofa in the living room for teenagers or children PLEASE NOTE THIS CABIN IS NOT ON THE LAKE !!!!!

This home is 7.6 miles to the Beach at Lake Lure, 9.1 miles to Chimney Rock State Park, and 19.4 miles to the Tryon International Equestrian Center (TIEC). Great for Family Gatherings The road entrance to the home is on the upper level of the house. There is a ramp to the door and to the boathouse deck, making it accessible for family in a wheelchair. Comfortable Living This lakefront rental has all of the comforts of home. This upper level has the washer and dryer conveniently located near the stairs leading to the main level. This level also has a full bath and 4 bedrooms. Down the stairs is the main level of this cozy home. The open floor plan is perfect for the views and to spend time with family and friends. If you stand at the bottom of the stairs, straight ahead is a spacious, fully equipped kitchen. To the left is the dining area and further still is the living area. On this main floor is another bedroom and full bathroom (shower stall-no bathtub) and the sofa converts to a sleeper. This home also offers Internet service, 3 televisions, and Skyrunner cable. By the door to the deck is a large bank of windows, just open the blinds to admire the beauty of Lake Lure and the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. Wonderful Outdoor Spaces If you want to get a little closer to nature, to the right of the bank of windows is the door to the deck. This is the perfect spot to enjoy your morning beverage or to relax out of the full sun of the afternoon. If you prefer sun, the spacious deck offers plenty of options. Relax on the dock or on the deck atop the boat house. Perfect Every Season With the area's temperate climate and beauty, this home can be enjoyed throughout the year. This Lake Lure vacation rental home is called ON MOUNTAIN TIME because it's the ultimate spot for rest and relaxation. Leave the busy pace of the city behind and come enjoy the best of Lake Lure and the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. This tri level 2 bedroom, 2 bath home is just 5 miles around the lake to the center of Downtown Lake Lure and Chimney Rock Village. The location is ideal because it's close to restaurants, activities, Chimney Rock State Park, our grocery store, and even Starbucks Coffee. The roads are paved to the home, so it's accessible year-round. Once you arrive at the home, there's plenty of parking for everyone. The driveway is level and easy to navigate. Just two steps, and you're in. The main level features an open inviting floor plan with soaring ceilings and a wall of windows allowing plenty of natural light. The living room is plenty comfortable with Chaise Lounge Sofa and large lounge chair in front of the wall mounted flat screen television. Steps away is the formal dining area with a table for six people. Adjacent to the table is a large granite countertop which make serving meals a breeze. The kitchen has all the upgrades including stainless steel appliances, side by side refrigerator freezer with water and ice maker, dishwasher, microwave, electric stove and oven, toaster, and DRIP COFFEE MAKER. The main level Master Bedroom has king size bed, large 9 drawer dresser, side chair for dressing, flat screen TV, and closet. Across the hall is a bathroom with tile walk in shower, and dual vanity with two sinks and two mirrors. Up a narrow metal spiral staircase is a loft sleeping area. It's open to the downstairs, but the floor plan still allows enough privacy. Here you will find a queen bed, PLUS a twin day bed with trundle, and flat screen TV. The loft has its own full bathroom with tub and shower. Down a metal staircase is an area that was once a full-size double garage. A better use of space is this spacious family room area complete with full size chaise style sofa, refrigerator, large wall mounted flat screen TV, and even a stackable washer and dryer. Rich in mountain history, Lake Lure NC is a vacation destination that attracts people from all over the county. Step back in time and experience the charm of this 1960's vintage Lake Lure lakefront home. Affectionately called the SS LOWERY, it features three levels, 4 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, and an abundance of outdoor living area right on the water. Let's take a tour of the SS LOWERY. Unloading the car is easy, as the driveway is level and there are only a few steps to enter. Once inside, you can choose from three bedrooms on the main level. The first bedroom has an amazing lake view, king size bed, two nightstands, flat screen wall mounted TV, lots of windows, ceiling fan, drawers for your clothes, chair, and desktop. The second bedroom has a comfortable queen size bed, nightstand, ceiling fan, and rocking chair. The third bedroom has two twin beds separated by a nightstand, dresser with four drawers, clothes closet, and ceiling fan. All three of these main level bedrooms feature parquet wood floors and knotty pine tongue and groove walls. The two bathrooms on the main level are a mixture of classic and newly remodeled. The first bathroom is remodeled with tile walls and floor, glass shelves, vanity with under-cabinet, wall mounted medicine cabinet, and full tub with shower. The second bathroom has a more classic feel, with knotty wood walls, pedestal sink, tile floors, shutters, and a stand-up shower. If you're lucky enough to get the Master Suite, you'll have your own lake view hideaway. Atop the stairs is this light and bright bedroom with a queen bed, nightstand, large armoire, chairs for dressing, wall mounted TV, and ceiling fan. Your own private bathroom has a shower. Sliding glass doors in the bedroom lead to a private deck overlooking the lake. Now that you've selected your bedroom, let's explore the rest of the home. The main level lake view living room has lots of windows, and ample seating for everyone with a collection of sofas and comfortable lounge chairs. In the cooler weather enjoy the toasty gas fireplace as you watch the large flat screen TV. Sliding glass doors lead to a deck connecting the best of outdoor and indoor living. But the best is yet to some; let's go downstairs. The lower level is where all the fun begins. At the bottom of the stairs is a kitchen equipped with everything you need to prepare meals and entertain your group. There's plenty of tile counter space, and tons of drawers and cabinets. No worries about pots, pans, dishes, and utensils. It's well equipped. Appliances include an electric stove and oven, microwave, refrigerator with freezer drawer, dishwasher, toaster, DRIP COFFEE MAKER, washer, and dryer. This eat-in kitchen has a dining table with six chairs, seating at the kitchen counter with two chairs, and a breakfast bar with two more chairs. But you'll probably prefer to eat outside which is just a few steps away from the kitchen. The sun room off the kitchen has a second gas fireplace, two sofas, and a lounge chair. It's the perfect place for reading on a rainy afternoon. THE BEST PART about this home is all the lakefront outdoor living area. And a BIG PLUS, there's only a few stairs to get to it. That's rare in Lake Lure; this home is right at the water. Fire up the GAS GRILL while you decide where to relax. There are so many different areas to gather and entertain, with multiple levels of decks all at the waters edge. Dine outside at the table with six chairs, or gather around the free-standing table with a built-in place for a small wood fire where there's seating for six more. There are even two double wood swings. All this outside area is covered by mature trees to keep you cool. When you're ready to get in the sun, head to the rooftop deck over the boat house. There's even a table and chairs up there too! Along the side of the boat house is a deck with table and two chairs. Sit there and watch your friends in the kayak or peddle boat provided. And yes, you saw it in the photos, there's a slide into the lake. You can swim right here! This home also features it's own small wood boardwalk along the water, and a hammock at the lake with it's own chiminea for that late night ambiance. The location is ideal because it's at the East side of the lake closest to town. So, no worries about all those winding roads around the lake. If you want even more to do on the water while in town, Lake Lure Adventure Company is just across the water from this home. NC VACATION RENTAL STANDARDS First, be aware that the North Carolina Vacation Rental Act provides you with certain rights and protections. Second, we would like to make you aware of a few local regulations designed to promote a safe and enjoyable experience for all. MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY LIMITS: The maximum occupancy limit for this home is 8 persons. You must provide us with the number of people and vehicles in your group. Violation of occupancy rules are grounds for immediate eviction with no refund, and fees will be charged to your credit card to cover any damages. DESIGNATED PARKING: Vehicles must be parked only in designated areas on the vacation rental property. Parking in the roadway blocking the flow of traffic and parking on neighbor's property without permission are prohibited. Contact your rental's property manager for offsite, overflow parking options. There is parking for 3 vehicles at this property. No RV's trailers, campers, or oversized vehicles of any kind. ACCESS: You will receive directions and access information once we have received a signed rental agreement securing reservation (this agreement will be sent to you for electronic signature) you will also need to provide a copy of your government issued ID to our company with current mailing address and contact information along with vehicle registration of each vehicle that will be at the home during your stay. You will be emailed check in instructions 24 hours prior to arrival provided you have signed your electronic rental agreement and sent in a copy of your photo ID and vehicle information. If you go to a property prior to approval from our office before check in time you will be accessed an early check-in fee $50. TRASH DISPOSAL: All household waste & trash must be placed in receptacles considered to be animal proof (e.g., durable with secured lids) when available unless advised otherwise due to increased bear activity. MINIMUM AGE: You must be at least 25 years of age to reserve a rental property and sign this lease and must also be a guest at the property during the entire term of the stay. You must present a valid government ID at time of check in. If you are not 25, you will NOT be allowed to check in and no refund will be provided. NO HOUSE PARTIES: We do not accept reservations from sororities, fraternities, spring-break parties, bachelor / bachelorette / wedding parties, graduation parties, or ANY similar groups unless approved at time of reservation. Mr. Lake Lure Vacation Rentals works very closely with local law enforcement to patrol our rental homes, and report to us any occupancy violations. Any violation of this rule mandates you immediately vacate home without refund, regardless of the remaining duration of your reservation. FIRE PROTECTION FOR YOUR SAFETY: Fire Extinguisher and Evacuation Plan -This home is equipped with working fire extinguishers and a posted evacuation plan. Removing any of these from their designated location is prohibited. Avoid storing items not to block hallways, doorways, steps, entrances and exits. Small Outdoor Fires - When an area burning ban is in effect, bonfires are prohibited. Contact your rental home's property manager for information on any burning bans. Outdoor fires are only permitted in a place and manner approved by the Fire Chief. LAKE ACTIVITIES: Swimming: Do not swim farther than 50 feet from shore unless accompanied by an observer in a boat. Fishing: A North Carolina fishing license is required, and all state fishing regulations apply. Boating: If a boat is provided with this rental home, please ask for and review the pamphlet entitled “Lake Regulations & Map”. If you wish to utilize your own boat on the lake, a permit is required and can be obtained at Town Hall or at the town marina. PERSONAL CONDUCT: Trespassing - Venturing onto a neighboring dock or pier, boat house or property without the owner's permission is prohibited. NO SMOKING: Smoking is prohibited in all our vacation rental homes. You will be accessed an additional cleaning fee if it is discovered you have been smoking in the home of $500. We ask that all smokers stay a minimum of 10 ft from any open window or door, do not stand near open doors or windows allowing smoke to enter the home while smoking on property. Please make sure butts and ashes are not left behind. Discard the butts and ashes in the outside garbage. Do not throw butts on the ground (including the fire pit) or bring them into the home. If there is any tobacco smell in the home after your departure, there will be a minimum $500 charge. Oil lamps and incense are not permitted due to the long-lasting odor. Expansive NEW 1,600sf DECK overlooking the waters of Lake Lure, complete with a NEW HOT TUB! Watch the sunset over the mountains as you grill, gather with friends, or soak in the HOT TUB! Home has lake access at the small community marina. Just a five minute walk from the home, you can enjoy swimming, fishing, or a lakefront picnic. The 2,900sf home sits in a private setting on over a half acre of lush greenery overlooking Lake Lure in the distance. Note: This is not a lakefront home, but does have access to enjoy the water at a community common area. You cannot dock your boat here. When you arrive, there is a concrete circular drive that leads right to the front door. With only two steps to enter the home, unloading your luggage and groceries is very easy. If you have two or three cars, off street parking is simple too. From the moment you enter the foyer, the views of the mountains and lake in the distance pull you right in. You feel the relaxed vacation vibe right away. The living room has a wall of windows that keeps it light and bright all day long. There's plenty of seating with sofa, love seat, and lounge chair. In the fall and winter months, enjoy the fire in the stone gas fireplace. After a day of adventure, watch your favorite movie on the large wall mounted flat screen Smart television. This home does have WiFi internet. The internet reception at this home is much better than average for Lake Lure. This DOG FRIENDLY two-bedroom, one bath home is clean, convenient, and affordable! Why stay in a motel when you can have complete privacy and all the comforts of home? As soon as you walk in the front door, you'll know you've made the right vacation decision. Set your bags down and explore this adorable cottage. It's not a five-star hotel, but we'll treat you like it is. Thick luxurious bath towels and crisp-white-pressed-professionally laundered sheets await. We have “starter” amenities in the kitchen and bathroom just in case you arrive late and can't make it to the grocery store until morning. Of course, you'll spend most of your time on the full-length screened porch. Gather around the outside table to dine, play games, or just enjoy the view. Or perhaps, grab a pillow and fall asleep on the patio lounge chair. Leave the sliding doors open to connect the outside and inside living areas together. The living room television is close enough to enjoy your favorite ball game while you sit outside. The screened porch is connected to a side deck with a gas barbeque and another table if you prefer to sit in the sun. The side deck has doors to both the screened porch and the kitchen, so preparing and serving meals from the barbeque is quick and convenient. And there's so many places to dine … at the kitchen table, in the screened porch, on the side deck in the sun, or at the gazebo for a little quiet work space. The guest room is plenty comfortable but wait until you see the Master Bedroom. It features its own sliding glass doors to the screened deck. So, before anybody wakes-up, you can go outside to enjoy a cup of coffee and some quiet-time. A few steps lead to the dock where more chairs and kayaks await. We do not offer boat rentals, but if you are lucky enough to secure a boat during your stay you can dock it here. There is even a dockside ladder to get in and out of the water. When you've had enough sun, or just want to rest awhile, the screened full-length porch is close by. Stairway to Heaven is a charming cottage located on Lake Lure, surrounded by trees in a relaxing and peaceful setting. Very private, yet conveniently close to local supermarket, several restaurants and Chimney Rock. This cozy abode has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a queen sized sofa bed in the living room. The entire house has been remodeled, savoring the knotty pine wood walls. Upon entrance, you will find 2 bedrooms, one has a queen sized bed, the other has a set of log style bunk beds. The bathroom has a tub and shower. The large kitchen has plenty of work space and is filled with all the amenities, including a K Cup coffee maker. It is open to the living room which features a gas fire place and the dining room has a rustic style wood table that can seat up to 8 people. A flat screened television hangs above the mantel and can be viewed from the kitchen, dining room and living room. Off the kitchen is an outdoor deck with a gas grill and beautiful views. Downstairs is the master suite with private bath, gas fire place, TV and sofa. Beyond the master suite is an enclosed porch with a glider, rocking chair and Foosball table. Lift up the top of the Foosball table and you will find other fun games. From the porch, step outside onto our large deck. Here you can enjoy meals, a glass of wine and listen to the sounds of the birds, crickets and water from the damn. Continue on down the stairs to the boat house which houses a kayak, paddle board, canoe and other fun water items. Our view of the damn is lovely and set in a quiet part of the lake, no wake zone which is perfect for swimming or lying on a raft. Up a half flight of stairs on the left are two bedrooms which share a full bath with shower; one bedroom has a full size bed and knotty pine walls, and the second bedroom has a queen bed and is decorated in the cottage style with white painted floors, periwinkle blue walls and charming white furniture with hand carved accents.To the right of the entry area is the spacious living area, with upscale furnishings, including 2 sofa sleepers. There is a convenient half-bath just off the living area. Sliding glass doors lead onto a large deck overlooking the lake. The upper level is home to the beautiful 15'x16' Master Suite with an expansive walk-in closet and a private ceramic tiled bath with tub/shower combination. The lower level of the home is the 4th bedroom & full bath, with two (2) twin beds and two (2) additional pull out twin beds.. Entry to this portion of the home is down a rather steep set of steps (not suitable for small children to navigate alone) from inside the sun porch, or from a separate outside entrance. Welcome to Cottage in the Cove! Important: Linens and towels are not provided at this property nor is a washer/dryer. There are a lot of stairs to access the cottage. Wow! That was a lot of stairs but you made it and now look what a sweet cottage you are in right on the water! Before we make the beds and put out the towels let's take a look around. Look at that view! Let's walk through the kitchen and the living room to go out the back door - everyone wants to see the lake. I love looking at it from the kitchen and living room windows, but it will be even better out here. Oh, look at the single chair sitting beneath the trees overlooking the lake, it reminds me of the perfect place for the strong silent type to sit or the one who likes their coffee with a spoonful of reflection. Look beside us at this amazing little flowing water waterfall creation - how lovely! Down the rock steps to the dock. What a cozy fire pit and little cove - there's not a lot of privacy but this is really cute and comfortable! A great place to stay when you have activities planned such as coming to town for a wedding, trail riding at a local stable, hiking, or going to Biltmore. You will get a workout with the stairs but who doesn't need a little heart health and muscle building? Get that circulation moving! Did you rent a boat or plan on using the kayaks that are provided? This place is also perfect for those who want a lot of lake time adventure! Let's go back inside and check out the house. Yes, the living room is comfortable with a pretty view and an open floor plan and the kitchen seems perfect to cook up some greens, beans, and cornbread while watching the sunset. Now, off to the downstairs bathroom and then upstairs. Wow, this bathroom is really nice! It's been redone like the rest of the house and has a modern feel. There is a dehumidifier here, it's not because the house is moist, it's just to protect this lakefront home from too much moisture from sitting so close to the water. Don't worry, you don't have to do anything about it and it's very quiet. Let's go upstairs using the charming spiral staircase. You can also access upstairs by going in an upper door, but this time let's go this way. You might find you use it every time! The upstairs is like an adorable cottage. Who's sleeping on the daybed? Anyone? If not, I want to read a book and take a nap there! The upstairs bedroom is delightful and the tastefully remodeled modern half bathroom can be accessed from both the day bed sleeping area and the bedroom. Enjoy your stay and don't forget to add something to the guest journal! You arrive by riding our electric tram (called a funicular) down to The Enchanted Cottage. As you ride down the track, you feel like you are leaving everything behind. Walk inside, step out onto the screened porch, and greet the beautiful Lake Lure! The Enchanted Cottage has arguably the most beautiful view on the lake, overlooking the main channel to the Rumbling Bald ridge across the lake. The cottage comes with what you need for your vacation, including unlimited use of a pontoon boat, allowing you to explore the whole lake. Go looking for a rope swing, explore the coves, and catch the sunset on the lake. Back at the cottage, everything you need is provided - towels, paper products, soaps, and shampoos - everything. All you need to bring is some food, drinks, and a bathing suit. Settle In The Enchanted Cottage has three full baths and sleeps 12 comfortably via four bedrooms with queen-size beds, plus two twin beds with trundles (totaling four twins). Our large dining table seats 10, and nearby bar stools seat two more. A few other details about the house itself: All linens, towels, soap, and shampoo are provided. We have board games, puzzles, and foosball. There is a full kitchen with a coffee maker, microwave, crockpot … just about everything you need. The cottage has central AC and heat, but you may end up not using the AC, as the cool breeze off the lake feels fantastic! Gas logs are there to up the cozy factor in the chillier months. Get outside! One of our visitors had this to say about the Enchanted Cottage: "The house is nice but you honestly don't spend much time in it. The dock and porches are fantastic. The use of the boat is great for driving out to a cove and swimming or finding the rope swing." We feel the same way! Our large screened porch with two ceiling fans is perfect for rocking, dining, playing games, napping, or listening to music (and it's big enough for everyone). The outdoor fire pit is a great spot for making S'mores and telling tall tales. And be sure to head out to the top of the boathouse for some incredible star gazing! Our pontoon boat is your ticket to enjoying all of Lake Lure: cruising the lake, fishing (permit required), and boating out to some of the lake's restaurants, like The LakeHouse. Our guests love having unlimited use of the boat, especially since pontoon boats rent for $600/day on the lake! Please note that the boat is generally in the water from April to November.

Lake Lure is special and the views from this house are exceptional. Upon entering the house, you will be taken away by the high pitched ceilings and exposed beams. To your left is the newly renovated half bath and kitchen with all the amenities. The dining room table which seats 6, looks out over the lake as does the living room. The living room is very cozy with it's gas fire place and flat screen TV. Off the living room/dining room is a beautiful new deck with outdoor dining and gas grill. Take the stairs up to the open loft with it's queen sized bed and fabulous view of the lake. Downstairs are 2 bedrooms. The first bedroom has 2 twin beds and the second bedroom has a queen sized bed and private bathroom. Outside the 2 bedrooms is a remodeled bathroom and washer & dryer. You may exit both bedrooms onto a small deck that will lead you down to the boathouse. The boathouse has a large newly renovated deck on top with a tiki hut and grill. It's a wonderful place to relax with a cold beverage and watch the boats go by. Or walk downstairs and jump into the cool lake and swim over to the floating dock. Or borrow our 3 kayaks or canoe and take a ride. This is a very cozy and comfortable home. A great place to relax and enjoy a family getaway!

The living room features sectional sofa, large side chairs, game table, and 1920's wrought iron lighting fixtures. Watch your favorite shows on the large flat screen TV with satellite cable. Yes, we have WIFI and a few Smart TVs. NOTE: THE FIREPLACE IS FROM THE 1920's AND IS NOT OPERATIONAL. The wide plank dining room table comfortably seats ten people. The Blarney Stone Cottage is a 3 bedroom 2 bath LAKEFRONT HOME ON LAKE LURE with vaulted ceilings, hardwood floors, gas fireplace, and brand new hot tub. The main living area has a Smart TV over the fireplace and DVD player, as well, with an assortment of movies to enjoy. On the main level is the private master suite with a king bed ensuite bathroom with shower, soaking tub with whirlpool jets, and a 42 -inch TV. You enjoy use of two kayaks, a one-person and a two-person with three paddles. Open to the living area, the galley kitchen is spacious and very well equipped with everything you need to prepare any meal. There is plenty of seating at the kitchen bar and dining table and easy access to the screened porch where you can enjoy your morning coffee and listen to nature while viewing the lake. DRIP COFFEE MAKER. The lower level features 2 guest bedrooms, and a Jack and Jill bathroom. The first lower level bedroom has twin bunk beds, TV and private access to the lower deck; the second guest bedroom has 1 queen bed, TV and also has private deck access. NOTICE! The Town of Lake Lure will be lowering the Lake by twelve feet beginning 1/4/21 until 1/31/21. The Lake will be lowered a foot per day. The purpose of lowering the Lake is for a Penstock inspection, dredging, sewer system assessment including a geotechnical investigation, and drone footage of the shoreline and Lakebed. The plan is to have the Lake back at full pond by 1/31/21. ---------------------------------------------------- The Hardigree Lake House is a one-of-a-kind home perfect for a family vacation or romantic getaway (sorry, no four-legged guests allowed). Perched at the foothills of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains overlooking lovely Lake Lure with lake frontage, the focus of this home is enjoying the lake and the beauty of the mountains. It offers a unique beach area that is shallow and gradually increases in depth. Few Lake Lure homes have such an enticing amenity. It is perfect for wading and for children to splash around. Just imagine fishing from the dock (license required) or just sitting and dangling your feet in the water. If you are looking for a little more activity, enjoy the kayaks, and canoe. Bring your own boat to tie to the dock (be sure to review the Town of Lake Lure boating regulations) for even more lake adventures. Inside the boat house is a game room for the young or young-at-heart to enjoy. If you want to enjoy the beauty of the area on land, you can step onto the upstairs porch to greet the morning with your tea or coffee. Relax on the hammock, deck chairs, or chaise lounge. Charm and Comfort Await You Indoors This home was built about 5 years ago (on an existing foundation) to resemble a quaint lake cottage. Every room offers comfort and the eclectic décor is charming and playful. The nice finishes and unusual uses of the vintage and antique items, as well as those specific to Lake Lure, make the home inviting and very special. It is obvious that every piece and finish in this home was selected with care. Main Level Gathering As soon as you enter, you will see the owners left their personal touch everywhere, even above the entry with a personal greeting that is truly fitting of this area: It is here, where mist touches peak and lake rises to greet Welcome To the left of the entrance door is the cozy living area. In addition to the comfortable sofas (queen sleeper sofa coming soon), there is a flat-screen TV, modern table, and vintage trunks. The ceiling fans are new but have a vintage feel with their caged lights. Past the living area is the combined kitchen/dining area. The kitchen island has a distressed base and vintage-looking leg spindles that support the island's breakfast bar. The breakfast bar seats 4 and the stools are cleverly painted red and white to resemble life preservers. Above the island is a vintage metal basket that was converted to a light fixture with 3 Edison lights. Beyond the island are the kitchen fixtures. There is a vintage-look high-back farm sink beside contemporary stainless steel appliances and traditional cabinetry. Another highlight of the kitchen is the vintage-looking cabinet with glass doors and small spice drawers above the electric smooth-top range. To the left of the island, against the wall of lakeside windows, is a table for 5 or 6 (depending how many can sit comfortably on the bench seat). Above it is a hanging light with a glass globe that would have been found in an old schoolhouse. With the main level open floor plan and numerous windows, you can enjoy the views from every angle as well as each other's company. If you walk in straight through the door, past the small hall that leads to the lower level stairs, is a bookcase with a round brass mirror above it that is reminiscent of a ship porthole with an eagle at the top. It looks as though it belonged in a ship captain's quarters. Past the bookcase is the door to the full bath. Here you will find a contemporary vanity, sink, and faucet with a mirror with an early-American look. The walk-in shower has beautiful glass doors and unique stone and wood-like tiles. A brand new queen sleeper sofa just added to the living room that just increased the occupancy to 10. Just past the bathroom is a bedroom with a queen bed, windows on two walls, a bureau, and vintage tables and pictures. The rest of the home follows this mix of contemporary, vintage and unique; and the homeowners made it all work together beautifully for your comfort and enjoyment. Lower Level Relaxation Turn right at the entry door and there is a little nook with a rocking chair and a wall sconce that matches the round port-hole mirror. It resembles an electrified wall-mounted brass oil lamp. The stairs, with wood handrail and metal spindles, lead to the lower level that has three bedrooms and a full bath. There is a bedroom with a queen bed and another with a twin and a full bed. Each boasts 3 large windows and wonderful lake views. The lower level master bedroom has a king bed, TV, and a private deck with a bistro table and chairs. There is even a Keurig station in the bedroom so you can grab your morning coffee and head out to breathe in the fresh lake air. The 3-piece full bath on this level has a contemporary vanity, sink, faucet, and mirror along with a bathtub/shower combination. With the temperate climate, the lake can be enjoyed year round. The area is lovely in the spring when everything is just beginning to bloom. VACATION RENTAL STANDARDS MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY LIMITS: The maximum overnight occupancy limit for this home is 10 persons. You must provide us with the number of people and vehicles in your group. Violation of occupancy rules are grounds for immediate eviction with no refund, and fees will be charged to your credit card to cover any damages. DESIGNATED PARKING: Vehicles must be parked only in designated areas on the vacation rental property. Parking in the roadway blocking the flow of traffic and parking on neighbor's property without permission are prohibited. Contact your rental's property manager for offsite, overflow parking options. There is parking for 3 vehicles.at this property TRASH DISPOSAL: All household waste & trash must be placed in receptacles considered to be animal proof (e.g., durable with secured lids). MINIMUM AGE: You must be at least 25 years of age to reserve a rental property and sign this lease and must also be a guest at the property during the entire term of the stay. You must present a valid government ID at time of check in. NO HOUSE PARTIES: We do not accept reservations from sororities, fraternities, spring-break parties, bachelor / bachelorette / wedding parties, or any similar groups unless approved at time of reservation. Mr. Lake Lure Vacation Rentals works closely with local law enforcement to patrol our rental homes. FIRE PROTECTION FOR YOUR SAFETY: Fire Extinguisher and Evacuation Plan -This home is equipped with working fire extinguishers and a posted evacuation plan. Removing any of these from their designated location is prohibited. Avoid storing items not to block hallways, doorways, steps, entrances and exits. Small Outdoor Fires - When an area burning ban is in effect, bonfires are prohibited. Contact your rental home's property manager for information on any burning bans. Outdoor fires are only permitted in a place and manner approved by the Fire Chief. LAKE ACTIVITIES: Swimming: Do not swim farther than 50 feet from shore unless accompanied by an observer in a boat. Fishing: A North Carolina fishing license is required, and all state fishing regulations apply. Boating: If a boat is provided with this rental home, please ask for and review the pamphlet entitled “Lake Regulations & Map”. If you wish to utilize your own boat on the lake, a permit is required and can be obtained at Town Hall or at the town marina. PERSONAL CONDUCT: Trespassing - Venturing onto a neighboring dock or pier, boat house or property without the owner's permission is prohibited. NO SMOKING: Smoking is prohibited in all our vacation rental homes. You will be accessed an additional cleaning fee if it is discovered you have been smoking in the home of $500. We ask that all smokers stay a minimum of 10 ft from any open window or door while smoking on property. NOISE: Unreasonably loud noise is prohibited throughout the Town. Please observe quiet hours after 10 p.m. and be aware that sound carries very far over a still lake. UNRULY BEHAVIOR: Behavior deemed disorderly and causing a disturbance to the public is prohibited. These regulations will be strictly enforced. PETS: Pets are not allowed in our homes.
